Biology

The Radiation Biology Division at the Department of Radiation Oncology specializes in biological cancer research in such areas as tumor angiogenesis and blood flow research, tumor suppressor genes, genomic imprinting in cancer, secondary messengers, gene therapy, and heat sensitive liposomes. The work of the Radiation Biology Division continues to yield promising findings which will can help to advance our understanding of cancer treatment.
