Duke Health Raleigh Hospital

Duke Radiation Oncology works hand-in-hand with community physicians, other specialists and families to provide the best care possible for our patients. Radiation treatment differs from other treatments because it uses an X-ray to destroy or reduce the size of malignances. This high-tech treatment targets cancer cells only, preserving healthy cells. This is a painless treatment that usually lasts 10-15 minutes.

Dr. Catherine Lee, medical director, works with her highly skilled staff including, an oncology nurse specialist, a radiation therapist and a clinical coordinator to deliver compassionate care.

From Points East:

  • Take I-40 West towards Raleigh/Durham
  • Take the US-64 EAST/I-440 NORTH exit, Exit #301
  • Merge onto I-440 East
  • Take the WAKE FOREST ROAD exit, Exit #10
  • Turn RIGHT onto WAKE FOREST ROAD
  • RCH's entrance comes up quickly on the Right.

From Points West:

  • Take I-40 East to Raleigh/Durham
  • Take RALEIGH CHAPEL HILL EXWY.
  • RALEIGH CHAPEL HILL EXWY becomes WADE AVE.
  • Take the I-440 NORTH/US-1 NORTH/INNER BELTLINE ramp towards WAKE FOREST/ROCKY MOUNT/WILSON.
  • Merge onto I-440 NORTH
  • Take the WAKE FOREST ROAD exit, Exit #10
  • Turn LEFT onto WAKE FOREST ROAD
  • You will travel back under I-440
  • Start merging to the right hand side of Wake Forest Road
  • RCH's entrance comes up quickly on the Right.

Parking Information

There are two free parking decks for visitors and patients. One is just to the left of the Hospital's main entrance, and the other just the right of the medical office building next to the hospital.
