Maria Parham Hospital

Members of the Department of Radiation Oncology faculty are available, on a regular basis, for consultation at Maria Parham Hospital. At present, if external beam radiotherapy is required, arrangements are made for treatment at Duke University Medical Center or Durham Regional Hospital. Those patients requiring follow-up visits close to home may avail themselves of services at these locations.

The American Cancer Society's Cancer Resource Center at Maria Parham Hospital was created to serve the needs of the people in Vance County and surrounding areas. Here you'll find answers to questions about the nature of cancer, its causes, and risk factors.

Find information on the latest strategies for prevention and early detection, new diagnostic techniques, and the latest treatment options.

There is important information for living with cancer and information on where you can order additional information. Use the dedicated computer within the CRC to find statistical information, links to websites, and answers to questions such as: What is cancer? Am I at risk for cancer? How can I tell if I have cancer? What should I ask my doctor? What happens after treatment?

Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
