Postdoctural Position Available for One-Two Years

POSTION: Postdoctural position available for one-two years.
This position would allow the candidate to work with projects related to
breast cancer angiogenesis and endothelial cell biology in the laboratories
of Mark Dewhirst PhD, DVM and Kim Blackwell MD.
 
Ongoing projects within the laboratory include:
  • Identification of novel binding-proteins for the estrogen receptor ligand drugs such as tamoxifen.
  • Study of mechanisms of degradation/ubiquination of the Her-2/neu receptor.
  • Effects of oxygen delivery on chemotherapy sensitivity in animal xenografts.
 
Candidate should have basic skills in molecular biology, interest in
translational therapeutics in breast cancer, and be an American
citizen/green card holder.
