Residency Program

Thank you for your inquiry concerning residency training in Radiation Oncology at Duke University Medical Center. The program is four years in length, starting at the PGY-2 level. Detailed general information about Duke from our Graduate Medical Office can be found at www.gme.duke.edu.

We participate in the ERAS service. In addition to the information that you send to ERAS, please send to us a copy of your transcripts from your undergraduate college, and other graduate experience (your medical school transcript is in the ERAS application).

Duke University participates in the National Residency Matching Program. The deadline for the receipt of a completed ERAS application form and supporting documents, except for the Dean's letter, is October 31.  After we have received your completed application, supporting letters, transcripts, and test scores, and have reviewed them, you may be invited for a personal interview.

Please submit your material and direct queries about the application process to Ms. Donna Wimberley, Box 3085, Duke University Medical Center, Durham, NC 27710, telephone (919) 668-5640, fax (919) 668-7345; Email dwimber@radonc.duke.edu.
