Thanks to all who made our Samulski Lectureship a success!
The 2022 Thaddeus Samulski Lectureship, honoring Dr. Samulski, an international leader in hyperthermia and chief physicist of Duke Radiation Oncology between 1992-2004, was held on Monday, October 3. Deshan Yang, PhD, covered an overview of physics divisional research planning, and invited speaker Lei Dong, PhD, gave a talk entitled "FLASH RT – physics/technological development and potential biological and clinical impacts." Thank you to everyone who attended and made this event a success.
At the lectureship, Chair Christopher Willett, MD, announced the Thaddeus V. Samulski Associate or Assistant Professorship Fund. Stay tuned for an article about the donor and family coming soon from the Duke University School of Medicine.
