Diandra Ayala-Peacock, MD, was recently named the NRG Oncology Radiation Oncology Committee Vice Chair. The Radiation Oncology Committee is a Scientific Core Committee and aides in cross-group collaboration and engagement for radiation oncology research; it also provides subject matter experts on related topics. Committee members work within the disease-specific committees in support of developing concepts and protocols where radiation therapy may be an appropriate treatment modality and provide quality control guidance for clinical trials and translational science projects.
