Congratulations to resident Mark Chen, MD, PhD, who recently won an American Society for Clinical Investigation (ASCI) Emerging-Generation Award. These awards recognize post-MD, pre-faculty appointment physician-scientists who are meaningfully engaged in immersive research; just 29 awards were given in 2026.
"This award is a reflection of the investment of my mentors, Dr. David Kirsch, Dr. Ashutosh Chilkoti, Dr. Dean Ho and my mentors within Duke Radiation Oncology and Duke Biomedical Engineering," said Dr. Chen.
