Lee Lab Receives U01 to Study Sex Differences in Radiation-Induced Intestinal Fibrosis

Chang-Lung Lee, PhD, is a Principal Investigator on a newly awarded $845,250 three-year U01 grant from the NIH/National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases titled "Sex differences in delayed development of gastrointestinal fibrosis after acute radiation exposure." Gastroenterologist and gastrointestinal cancer geneticist Jatin Roper, MD, is also PI on the grant. This grant aims to study the role of interferon signaling in regulating radiation-induced intestinal fibrosis in male versus female mice.
