Danielle Raya, RN, MSN, OCN, has been named Duke Radiation Oncology Nurse Coordinator. In this newly created role, Danielle will be using her oncology- and radiation-specific clinical knowledge and experience to provide individual assistant to our patients and their caregivers. She will coordinate care services, comprehensive patient education and ongoing clinical support during the treatment process. She will collaborate with the multidisciplinary patient care team, including providers, residents, APPs, nursing, scheduling, therapy/imaging and all of our DCI support resource groups.
"Danielle has been with Duke Radiation Oncology for over 13 years and brings a vast knowledge and dedication to all that she does," said Kimberly DeBaun, RN, BSN, CNML, Nurse Manager of Operations. "This new role will allow her to continue that dedication and further expand the nursing support, education and optimal outcomes for our team and patients."
