Why Duke?
At Duke, I found a welcoming community with a high clinical volume, abundant research opportunities and a strong emphasis on medical education. The program offered everything I was looking for in a residency – and more – with countless opportunities to explore my specific clinical and professional interests.

Clinical/research interests
I’m particularly interested in central nervous system tumors and the use of techniques like SRS to treat them. I hope to engage in research to improve our therapeutic approaches. I’m also passionate about medical education, especially integrating radiation oncology into general curricula. Additionally, I have a strong interest in palliative care and am considering further training to become a well-rounded radiation oncologist who empowers patients in their cancer care decisions.

Hobbies/interests
Writing, reading, cooking, board games and sometimes even Dungeons and Dragons.
