Why Durham?
There are so many great outdoor activities in Durham! It's close to both the beach and the mountains, making for great weekend trip opportunities. It also has a great food and brewery scene.
What do you like to do outside of Duke?
My fiancé and I love to try new restaurants and explore the many running/walking trails around the Triangle with our dog, Bennett.
What were you looking for in a residency program?
I was looking for a program with high clinical volume, kind and supportive faculty and co-residents that I knew would double as good friends. Thankfully, I found all of these to be true of Duke's program!
