Why Duke?
I was fortunate enough to rotate in the Department as a medical student and was struck by the sense of community within the Department, as well as the strength of the program and variety of opportunities for research and further learning. Combined with the excellence in patient care I witnessed every day, it was an easy choice for me where I wanted to receive my training.

Clinics and Research Interests
I have a strong interest in gynecologic cancers, especially brachytherapy and researching socioeconomic determinants of health and disparities within oncologic care.

What do you like to do outside of Duke?
I enjoy crocheting and cross-stitching; I recently finished a cross-stitch of an Alphonse Mucha painting that took me two years and 300+ hours of work to complete. I also enjoy hiking and spending time outdoors and am excited to discover trails around the Triangle area. I've heard excellent things about the food scene in Durham and the Triangle as a whole and already have a list of places I want to try.
