Why Duke?
Duke Radiation Oncology is my dream program because I know it will challenge me and help me grow into the best physician I can be. The opportunity to learn from world-renowned leaders in the field, coupled with exceptional clinical training and exposure to a high volume of diverse patients, makes Duke stand out. I am particularly excited about the chance to care for VA patients, as I believe this will deepen my clinical experience and broaden my perspective. For these reasons, and many more, I am eager to become part of the Duke family

Clinical/research interests
I am particularly interested in learning about thoracic and head-and-neck cancers and exploring how socioeconomic factors impact the care of our patients. However, I am also open to expanding my knowledge and exploring other areas of oncology.

What were you looking for in a residency program?
I’m looking for a program that offers not only exceptional education and research opportunities but also fosters an environment where we support each other in our learning and development. A place that helps us transition into independent physicians, working collaboratively while building the skills needed for success in the field.

Hobbies/interests
I love spending time with my fiancé and our baby dog, Medalla. Whether we’re cooking, baking or just relaxing with a movie, we always make the most of our time together. When we're feeling more active, you’ll find us running, hiking, biking or exploring the city. When I’m not with them, I enjoy playing soccer and catching Arsenal games.
