Concentrations

At Duke Radiation Oncology, residents have the opportunity to pursue advanced training through focused clinical concentrations in specific disease sites, including CNS; GI; gynecologic brachytherapy; and head and neck cancers. These concentrations are designed to deepen the resident’s knowledge and expertise beyond the general residency curriculum. The primary goal of the concentration program is to build upon each resident’s foundational understanding of cancer care, fostering a deeper clinical and academic proficiency in the treatment of specific malignancies.

Trey Mullikin, MD, serves as the faculty lead for concentrations, overseeing the development and implementation of these tracks.
